Letter from the founder (LFTF)

I guess its safe to say that young creative South Africans are on the right path, we have countlessly seen or been exposed to all sorts of creative concoctions created from the dire need to be seen, heard and experienced. It's almost as if we finally realised that money should not be the main catalyst for our creative drive but rather a by-product of our hard work, determination and experimentation. I love the fact that more and more individuals and groups alike are creating proudly South African brands, products and services.

We as creators are beginning to reproduce our own identity from a poitjie of culture, history and heritage and it is with that mentality that we will one day become industry leaders and be appreciated on a global scale as a unique breed and with all that we have going on in our country right now, we will have so much creative depth and therefore be able to disseminate our works on a broader scale. We have an immense wealth of talent and all that I wish for is for people to realise that the concept of Ubuntu needs to be revived, we NEED to help each other, collaborate more to reach greater heights and to be appreciated on a larger spectrum. Growth is healthy and will not be inevitable if we keep to ourselves and let our egos supersede the reality of our current state. I speak on behalf of you, me and everybody else who has a dream to breath life to their creative ideologies and ideas. The time has come to get up and do it...Be a part of something.... create.

With that said I would like to unveil the theme for our 6th issue of Kaffein Online Magazine *Drum Roll*
